This girl will be going home with the Derry family. They have named her Chloe. This is a playful guy will go home with the Mediati family. Below, we have Curious George - the camera would make a noise and he would have to see (and taste) what that noise was... George is not a follower and he didn't really lead the pack in any adventures, he is quite independent until he is held and then he loves to be cuddled. He will be going home with the Frasier family. Oh, if it looks like he is falling off of the chair, he is - I put him that way so he would be still for the camera :) This is the first shot I took of this guy! He is still and submissive. He will go home with the Wagner family. Keeping in mind that all puppies are playful. The Kennedy family will have the most fun running and cuddling with this guy! I think these guys are twins, they are colored the same and have very similar personalities. They are also pictured below respectively: This one will go to Ms. Freppel for cuddling and summer fun. This one will go to the Cook family. Stories of Buddy and the Boys!
Hi
Michele!
April
12,
2007
Thought you might like an update. Buddy
is doing
well and I think looking forward to spring (we all are!) He was
"fixed"
last week so he is still healing but you would not know it at
all. He
did very well in surgery and was his usual puppy self the next
day. He is hating having to "take it easy" and wants to run and
run and run! We opted to have the vet perform the optional pre-surgery
testing on all of his vital organs and bloodwork just to be safe as
well as to establish a baseline in case he is ever sick. All of
his tests came back fine. He did have roundworms, however, when
they wormed him so I thought you may need to know that as the vet says
this usually is passed from the mother to the puppy. He is fine
in that area now, also. The boys have learned to feed and walk
him and he does pretty good for them. He has learned very quickly
and with little direct teaching to walk on a leash, to
sit and wait for his food, to sit before we open the door, and to lay
down
quietly to be let out of his crate. He does get crazy when all
three
boys are running around, but no more than any puppy would :) If
he
is barking, I just have to look at him and he stops and lays his head
down
on his paws. He loves fetch and I think he believes he invented it
because we never taught him..it was his idea. He adores the park
and the few warm days we had he was so happy to walk the 5 blocks next
to the stroller and play with all the kids. He's still a little
timid with strangers but warms quickly especially if I hold him.
He never nips or growls at strangers and he loved meeting the other
children at the park.,He seemed to sense that some of the little ones
were afraid and he would kind of put his head down so they could pet
him and then really slowly lick their hand, it was really cute.
Buddy will take any chance he can to go outside and walk and even
enjoys the boys walking him-despite the fact that at first we called it
"the boys taking him for a drag" (they are only allowed to walk back
and forth in front of the house, but he'll take it!) He likes the snow,
too. A family
friend told my mom the other day that everyday on her way home from
work,
she would see these little boys walking the cutest dog she's ever seen
and
she finally realized that it was our boys. She told my mom she is
in
love with our dog and wanted to know where we got him. I told her
I
would get her your info as she wants a puppy just like him. This
is
common, most people we run into have never heard of or seen a
"schnoodle" but tell us he's the cutest puppy they've ever seen and
they chuckle at the word schnoodle :) We agree of course because we
think he is the cutest puppy we've ever seen, too (and the smartest)
despite his absolute obsession with anything paper (tissues, napkins,
paper towels) LOL I have attached some more photos of our little
guy. Thank you again, we are really enjoying him. Hi Michele Feb. 9, 2007 So it has been a week since "Buddy" joined our family. He is doing well and seems very happy. He is really smart and is following some verbal directions already including "crate", "lets go potty", "ball", "time to eat", and "no." He whines infrequently when he is in his crate, and usually only when he knows it's the usual time that he goes potty or eats and we are taking too long! He loves to play "chase" and will even participate in a little fetch with the ball. My boys are having a blast with him and are doing well remembering that he needs to take naps because he is still a baby. He's a really great dog, obviously well socialized because he fell right into our routine with little trouble and is very friendly. Hi Michele, February 2007 Buddy had his first vet visit Saturday AM and was given a clean bill of health-short of the stool sample still pending. My vet was impressed with the good info you gave us regarding training and just general info about this breed. Buddy did get a little "snarly" with the vet b/c he wanted to come to me and not the vet. I was surprised! The "schnauzer" in him according to Dr. Clarke. He's trying it with us now, the little stinker! But he learns quickly so we're just keeping on him. He thinks he's more ferocious then he is but he's afraid of ****'s rubber dinosaur ball. Some ferocious beast! Haha! Oh, and we love the photos on the website, *** thinks he's famous now! :)
